In an effort to provide the essential workforce needs facing our region, the Turning Point WDB, provides services to area businesses in order to ensure their continued growth. Staff can assist businesses with opportunities to enhance their workforce, while providing incentives to increase production and profitability.
Across the State, Business Services Managers, Representatives and Coordinators are available to assist Employers, maintain relationships with partners of agencies such as the Community Colleges, Economic Developers and are staff to the Local Area Workforce Board.
A Business Services Team also works to assist the Board staff person with employer services throughout the Region. The team consist of key partners representing agencies of Community Colleges, Career Centers, Workforce, Economic, Community and Business Development. The team shares information that is essential to the NC Works System for integration of services and sharing of resources to provide the best assistance to Employers.
