NCWorks Career Centers
The Local Area Workforce Development Board provides oversight to the NCWorks Career Centers of the Region. Job Seekers can receive career and labor market counseling to assist with career choices and job placement. Applicants speak with a Center representative to determine eligibility & requirements. All required documentation is completed and submitted. An employment and services plan is developed. This plan outlines all services and activities that the participant will be provided in order to achieve economic self-sufficiency.
Interested individuals may register on the NCWorks site ahead of contacting a Career Center for “self-help.” Once it is determined that you do need to visit the physical location, your information will already be accessible. “The Center” is also beneficial for Employers. Space is available to conduct interviews and other training as needed.
